Social Media Policy
The Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association, Woodstock, GA Chapter (SORBA-W), mission is to preserve, protect, and educate the mountain bike community, SORBA-W's primary focus continues to be advocacy, mountain bike trail development, and trail maintenance in Cherokee County.
A vital tool to build the mountain bike community is the use of social media. Our social media policy limits the use of all SORBA-W’s pages and groups to material that supports the chapter, its mission, and focus. The material must be limited to comments that encourage, support, and compliment the chapter’s efforts. The posting of items for sale are not allowed unless the sale will financially benefit the chapter.
Comments must never contain inaccurate information, vulgar or inflammatory language, or information that purposely or inadvertently identifies riders in a way that is perceived to be threatening or a personal attack through their comments. Any violations of this policy will result in the deletion of the comments and potentially blocking the user from the media.
